Pinewood 09 Pictures - JUST ADDED!

This is coming up quickly - the Pinewood Derby will be held on SATURDAY, JANUARY 24TH AT 1:00 PM in the gym at Mt. Olivet.

THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST OFFICIAL RACE ON THE NEW TRACK!!!!

Official weigh in of the cars will be the night before on Friday, January 23rd in the gym from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Your car must be registered at this time to be part of Saturday's race. At this time we will check each car for weight and height requirements and register them for the race. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL KEEP THE CARS FROM THIS POINT UNTIL AFTER THE RACE.  We will also have tools available and weights for you to use.

Once again siblings and parents are welcome to enter cars to race!

All cubs will receive a participation badge. In addition we will have awards for the fastest cars AND a chance for the cubs to vote for the top 3 COOLEST CARS before the race begins.

I was hoping to send you all a document with tips on tuning up your cars but I haven't found it yet.  Hopefully we'll have it to you soon. In the meantime there's plenty of info on the web.
